CHILDREN’S DANCE PROJECT RAD certified creative dance performance programme A contemporary aproach in ballet training Your Child will find the joy of dance through ballet & contemporary dance curriculum. We promoto knowledge, understanding and practice of dance through the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) program. Largest accreditation in the world RAD is the largest accredited classical ballet Examination Board in the world and as a Member of the Academy our students will benefit from RAD’s reputation as an international dance training and education provider of excellence. Our students besides the formal strict ballet training will be introduced to contemporary dance techniques. Our aim is to produce a level of conciousness about the creative elements of dance as a whole. Raising Conscious Individuals We believe that one of the most important quote of the era is Socrates's 'Know Yourself'. Starting with that, in our creative dance classes we aim to foster self confidence and increase self esteem of the child through dance. Dance is a tool to learn the body, what it needs, what are it’s limits, what are it’s weaknesses, how can it be controled. Dance is an infallible way to realize the others. Dancing with friends the child shares, laughs, jokes and grows with others. Please don’t forget to bring a towel and lots of fruit your child will need those. Education Programme Children’s Dance Project consists of 3 major parts; Classical Ballet (RAD curriculum given by our RAD teacher Didem Teksöz) Creative Dance (contemporary dance tecniques given by performance artist Aytül Hasaltun) Performance Classes There are comlementary classes such as solfege, ballet history, streching and dance videos. Participation Rules At the beginning of every term, 6_12 years of age children can apply to the programme after the auditions. (Auditions are the bases of classifications) The studio rules and a timetable will be given at the time of the registration.
